The Superpasso range is designed for high performance, catering to riders of all levels. The Superpasso model features a 150 TPI carcass, delivering a supple ride with minimal rolling resistance and exceptional comfort. Building on this foundation, the Superpasso Pro refines these qualities with a 120 TPI carcass, tailored for competitive cyclists seeking peak performance.
The Tubeless Ready (TLR) version of the Superpasso Pro incorporates Active Control technology, replacing the traditional overlapping centre join with a bridged gap. This innovation reduces weight and increases speed, enhancing control, feedback and overall ride quality. Additionally, the TLR variant can be made preventively puncture-proof with Vredestein’s Tyre Sealant, offering three key benefits:
1. Lower tyre pressure for improved comfort and grip
2. Reduced rolling resistance due to the absence of an inner tube, saving 20 grams per wheel
3. Enhanced puncture resistance, with the sealant automatically sealing small punctures caused by rocks or thorns
This combination ensures a smoother, more reliable ride with uncompromised performance.
When it comes to puncture protection, both Superpasso tyres feature TriComp technology, optimising compound distribution across the tread and sidewalls for even wear, fast cornering, strong puncture protection and maximum grip in all weather conditions.
Additionally, the tyres incorporate the Sportex Protection Layer (SPL), significantly reducing the risk of punctures while maintaining flexibility and lightweight performance.
