Terms and Conditions

1. Beat The Winter (hereinafter referred to as "Contest") is being brought by Vredestein Tyres; a company incorporated under Apollo Tyres LTD. having registration number 54806941 located at Enschede, Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as “Apollo”/ “Company”).

2. Entry for the Contest will be only accepted if all the conditions mentioned below are met by the Contestant:

  • Contestant must reside in one of the EU countries, namely Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, Norway or Denmark.
  • Contestant must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older on 21/10/2024.

    We reserve the right to verify eligibility and may disqualify the contestant who does not meet these requirements.

3. Participation in the contest is free of charge.

4. The Contest website is supported by:

  • iPhone, iPad, iOS Safari (iOS version 16 and higher),
  • Android mobile and tablets, Chrome (Android 12 and higher),
  • Mac browsers; Safari, Chrome and Firefox,
  • Windows browsers; Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

5. The Contest Website is NOT supported on in-App browsers (e.g. Facebook Browser)

6. The Contest starts on 21 October, 2024 at 12:00 CET and closes on 31 December, 2024 at 23:59 CET, 31/12/2024.

7. Any entry and score submission made after the close time will not be accepted. Apollo shall not be responsible for any non- submission due to any technical issues due to software and/or server.

8. Upon ending the game, Contestant will get an option of playing again or opt for submission of score. Upon selecting submission of score, the score shall be final, and the Contestant will not be allowed to re-submit the score.

9. By entering the Contest, you agree that your personal data (including, but not limited to, your name, email address, and any other information you provide) will be collected, stored, and processed solely for the purposes of:

  • Administering the contest.
  • Contacting the winners.

10. Your data will not be used for future marketing purposes and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law or in cases of fraud prevention. Data will be stored securely and will be deleted following the conclusion of the Contest and after all prizes have been distributed, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

12. You give permission to be contacted by telephone and/or receive emails from us regarding the Contest until all prizes have been distributed.

13. We reserve the right to disqualify any Contestant, if we determine that the entry is false, incomplete, inappropriate, or does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, entries that:

  • Use falsified personal information.
  • Include offensive or inappropriate content.
  • Are submitted through automated methods or bots.

14. Disqualified Contestant agree to forfeit any potential prize, and no further correspondence will be made by the Company in such scenarios.

15. If the winner of the Contest is under 18 years of age, and/or does not meet the other conditions for participation, the winner of the Contest will not be entitled to the prize. The prize will then be given to the person next in line in terms of the score.

16. If a Contestant obtains more than one entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, their eligibility for the Contest will be void including all their entries and that Contestant shall be disqualified.

17. Apollo is not responsible for any technical failures, including but not limited to server crashes, software malfunctions, or internet connection issues that may affect your ability to participate in the Contest or access the game. We also disclaim any liability for any delays or losses that may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. By participating in this Contest, you agree that Apollo group which refers to Apollo Tyres Limited including all its subsidiaries, associate including its affiliates, and its partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from your participation, including but not limited to system failures, data loss, or third-party interference.

18. Apollo reserves the right to select and assign prizes to a Contest winner.

19. Please note the selection of winners for the Contest are discretionary decision of the Company and you as a Contestant provide your full consent and acknowledgement that the Company reserves the right to decide or change the criteria for awarding prizes and no request from the Contestant such as changing of prize into cash rewards or any other alterative etc. will be entertained by the Company.

20. The first prize winner of the Contest who may be eligible for two flight tickets to the FIS Ski Championship Super-G in Saalbach, Austria:

  • Needs to provide all the correct information and necessary details of his/her own and of the accompanying guest he/she wants to take along as part of the complimentary tickets upon winning the Contest.
  • Once details are provided to the Company, the accompanying guest cannot be replaced or changed.
  • The accompanying guest should be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older on 21/10/2024.
  • All data of the accompanying guest would be dealt in the same manner as given under clause 9 and 10 of the same Terms and Conditions.
  • Please note the accompanying guest would not be contacted by the Company directly and for all communication and coordination Apollo will reach out to the first prize winner of the Contest.
  • The first prize winner of Contest and his/her accompanying guest must be available to travel on the dates mentioned. 
  • In any circumstance, if the first prize winner of the Contest is unable to travel on the given dates, due to any reason whatsoever, the winner will not be compensated for the loss of the proposed prize. The winner is not permitted to transfer the prize to another person.
  • Should the accompanying guest of the winner of the first prize is also unable to travel at the last minute, due to any reason then the accompanying guest will not be compensated for the loss of the prize. He/she is not permitted to transfer the prize to another person.
  • Apollo will pay for transfer ONLY from the airport to the accommodation booked by Apollo and from the accommodation booked to the airport. All other chargers are to be borne by the first prize winner of the Contest.
  • The first prize winner of the Contest will bear any costs incurred at the hotel in addition to the accommodation costs, for instance, for the minibar, room service, as well as damage to the room.
  • Apollo would provide one (1) room which shall be shared by the first prize winner and his/her accompanying guest. Cost of all meals, beverages and snacks for both shall be their own responsibility. There would be no reimbursement by Apollo for the same. 
  • The trip will be made at the winner’s own risk. Apollo cannot be held liable for any damages that the winner or his/her accompanying guest sustains during or in connection with the trip. Apollo will not take out travel insurance for the winner or his/her accompanying guest.

21. Apollo shall not be liable in any way if the FIS Ski Championship Super-G in Saalbach, Austria gets cancelled or rescheduled. The first prize winner of the Contest shall not demand any compensation or tickets to the said event in future.

22. The winner of the Contest must respond within seven (calendar) days of being contacted by Apollo. If the winner does not respond within seven (calendar) days, he/she can no longer claim the prize and we will select a replacement winner.

23. The winner of the Contest shall be notified by Apollo in writing via e-mail address provided by the Contestant at the time of score submission.

24. The winner of the Contest is responsible for providing all required information correctly.

25. The prize will be sent by mail/courier services to the winner of the Contest on the address given by the winner of the Contest, Apollo shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the prize and in no event will it be exchanged or replaced. 

26. An employee, contractor, agent and immediate family member of any Apollo group company will ONLY be eligible to participate in the Contest but WILL NOT be given any prize.

27. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Apollo reserves the right to postpone, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest for any reason whatsoever without any liability or obligations.

28. Apollo solely has the right to take a decision in any contingency which is not covered by the present Terms and Conditions. In any such event, decision of Apollo shall be final and binding.

Participation in the Contest shall constitute unconditional and full acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions. Apollo reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions without notice. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Dutch Civil laws. Any legal disputes or claims will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Netherlands, and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
