DLG-approved: More than 50% longer lifespan

Recent testing by the independent German test institute DLG has confirmed Vredestein Traxion tyres to be a far more economical option than competitor tractor tyres over their lifetime. In fact, the results proved that the Vredestein Traxion XXL has a 50% longer lifespan, which ultimately results in a saving of 1 euro per operational hour per tractor.

The test fitted Vredestein Traxion XXL and tyres of a premium competitor on six John Deere 6215R tractors in Germany. Each tractor was fitted with JD Link, a system logging the job and position of the tractor, to assure the results were comparable. The tested tyre sizes were the popular combination 710/70 R 42 rear and 600/70 R 28 front. DLG found that the Vredestein Traxion XXL had over 50% more lifespan compared to the reference tyre.

“These results show that Vredestein Traxion tyres provide a longer total life resulting in savings of 1 euro per operational hour. For a contractor, this could easily be translated to 1.000 Euro per tractor per year. Something that Vredestein customers have already known for years” says Ruud Nijland, Division Head Off Highway Tyres at Apollo Vredestein

Vredestein will present the tested tyres and the DLG report at coming Agritechnica in Hannover in Hall 20, Stand A58
